Delete your Pados account
Last updated 7 September 2026
This page is for deleting your account in the Pados app (business.pados.app), published by Anita Mridha, sole proprietor, trading as Pados. You can do it yourself in the app, or ask us to do it by email if you have already uninstalled.
Option 1 — in the app (fastest)
- Open Pados and sign in.
- If you shop on Pados: tap the account icon at the top of the shops screen.
If you run a shop: open the More tab. - Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Read what will happen, then confirm.
The account and the data listed below are removed immediately.
Option 2 — by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email pados.andaman@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my Pados account. We will confirm and delete within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
Write from the address on the account. It is the only way we can tell that the request is really yours — we will not delete somebody’s shop on the word of an email we cannot verify.
What is deleted
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your saved delivery addresses, including any map pins
- The notification tokens for phones you signed in on
- Your sign-in credentials, so the account can no longer be used
- Your name and phone on past online bills, where the bill does not legally need to carry them
What is kept, and why
A shop keeps its own record of a sale it made to you, the same way it keeps a paper bill in a drawer. Indian law requires a business to keep its books, and the record belongs to the shop rather than to Pados.
If you run a shop, deleting your account takes the shop off the map straight away — customers stop seeing it and it stops accepting online orders — but the shop’s bills, invoices and stock history remain in its accounts for the retention period the law sets. A GST invoice that is required to name its buyer keeps that name.
Before you can delete
An order that is still on its way has to arrive or be cancelled first. Deleting your details in the middle of an order would leave a shopkeeper holding a bag with no way to reach you. The app will tell you if this is blocking you.
This cannot be undone
There is no restore. Signing up again later creates a new, empty account.
